Bill Weeks

Bill, a senior real estate broker associate, joined the Ramsey Agency as co-owner in 1969. In 1974 the agency was incorporated and renamed Ramsey-Weeks. Bill earned a BA degree from Simpson College, Indianola, Iowa, in 1950, and a masters and Education Specialist degrees from Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa, in 1958 and 1966 respectively. For 12 years Bill served as principal at both the junior and senior high schools in Grinnell. For over 35 years, Bill has been involved in all facets of the local real estate market -- residential, commercial, land development, farms, acreages, business opportunities, and property management.

Dustin Smith

Dustin joined Ramsey-Weeks in March 2006 as a full time financial advisor. His addition allows us to offer a full range of financial services and investment products to our clients. Dustin graduated from Luther College in Decorah, IA and Rock Island High School in Rock Island, IL. Prior to joining Ramsey-Weeks, Dustin worked for Thrivent Financial as a regional management associate in the Chicago area. Charlotte (Char) Bailey

Char joined the Ramsey-Weeks team in July 1995. As office manager her responsibilities include ordering supplies, setting up new claims and processing them to their conclusion, and bookkeeping for the corporation. A native of Grinnell, she and her husband, Keith, are parents of Kristin Morrison, Nick Bailey and Sara Wray. They have 5 grandchildren. Char graduated from Northwest Institute of Medical Technology in 1962 and was employed in the medical field before moving to Grinnell. Prior to joining Ramsey-Weeks, she worked at Grinnell State Bank for 15 years as note teller and assistant cashier. Char rates excellent customer service and teamwork as her top priorities.

Kevin Kolbe

Kevin joined Ramsey-Weeks as a full time real estate sales agent in March 2003 and is currently the managing real estate broker. Kevin, along with this wife Susan, and their two daughters have called Grinnell home since 1985. He brings twenty years of professional sales experience to the Ramsey-Weeks team. Penny Gable

Penny joined Ramsey-Weeks as a full time real estate sales associate in November, 2004. A native of Grinnell, Penny and her husband Darin have two children. She graduated from Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, IA, and was a product manager with DeLong Sportswear for 10 years before becoming a full time homemaker. Darcy Swick

Darcy joined Ramsey-Weeks in February 2000 as a full-time personal lines sales associate and customer service epresentative (CSR). She became the personal lines insurance manager in 2005. Prior to joining Ramsey-Weeks, Darcy worked 10 years as a fully-licensed representative for the State Farm Insurance Company in Minnesota. Darcy is a native of Adrian, Minnesota, where she graduated from high school. She attended Nettleton College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Jim Ramsey

Jim, president of Ramsey-Weeks, joined the agency in January 1998 as a full-time real estate sales associate. Prior to joining Ramsey-Weeks, Jim worked for a commercial real estate development company in Knoxville, Tennessee, as a financial analyst and assistant property manager. Jim graduated from Grinnell High School and then earned a BA from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, and masters degrees from Duke University and the University of Tennessee. Jim is currently working with commercial lines insurance products.

Lee Ann Lane

Lee Ann, who currently heads up the health and financial services department, joined Ramsey-Weeks in December 1995 as a full-time life and health insurance agent. She graduated from Plain Dealing Academy High School, Plain Dealing, Louisiana, and received an Office Administration degree from Southern Arkansas University, Magnolia, Arkansas. Lee Ann then sold life insurance for Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company in Louisiana and Arkansas. In November 1995 Lee Ann moved to Grinnell. Lori Vande Stouwe

Lori has been employed with Ramsey-Weeks since August 1992. She graduated from Grinnell High School and attended the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. For 13 years she worked in the banking industry in Iowa City and Knoxville, Tennessee, before returning to Grinnell in 1990. Lori is a licensed agent in both personal and commercial lines. She works closely with insurance producers to make sure your commercial insurance needs are met. Paul W. Pohlson

Paul, a vice president, joined Ramsey-Weeks in October 1981 as a full-time insurance sales associate. He earned his BA degree and has completed a majority of the requirements necessary for obtaining a CPCU designation. Paul believes in a sales approach that educates the insurance customer about various insurance products and then offers assistance helping that person make an informed decision about his particular insurance needs. Rick Ramsey

Rick Ramsey, chairman of the board emeritus, has lived in Grinnell nearly all of his life. A graduate of Lawrence University, Appleton, Wisconsin, he returned to Grinnell in 1963 to join his father, Fred, in the insurance and real estate business. Since then Rick has also continuously supported and participated in the civic life and economic development of Grinnell and the surrounding area. Rick is licensed in real estate, property and casualty insurance, and also life and health insurance.

Karen McNally

Karen, who was raised on a farm south of Grinnell, joined Ramsey-Weeks in 2003 as a receptionist and real estate closing agent. Prior to joining Ramsey-Weeks, Karen worked for the Dick Davin Real Estate Agency in Iowa City, Iowa as the real estate closing agent and office manager. Karen�s husband Bill is also a native Grinnellian and is a local attorney in the Bierman & McNally law office. Karen and Bill have two sons, Patrick, who lives in Virgina Beach, Virginia and Peter, who lives in Des Moines, Iowa.

Carolyne McClure

Carolyne, our receptionist, joined Ramsey-Weeks in March 2006. She was born and raised on a farm south of Barnes City, IA and graduated from North Mahaska High School in New Sharon, IA. For several years she lived on a farm where she raised two children. During this time she also worked for a CPA as a receptionist and held various sales positions. Carolyne later moved to Decorah and worked in retail. In 2000 she moved to Conroy and worked at Amana Furniture Shop as a salesperson until joining Ramsey-Weeks.

Joyce Halblom

Joyce joined Ramsey-Weeks as a full time real estate sales associate in February, 2006. She earned her B.A. from William Penn College in Oskaloosa, Iowa, and worked in the printing, marketing and advertising professions. She grew up in Grinnell, lived in South Carolina, and recently moved back to Grinnell in 2002.
